Founders Historic Park
Situated on five hectares on Atawhai Drive, close to Miyazu Gardens and Whakatu Marae, was the brain-child of a number of Nelson citizens who set up Founders (Inc.) in 1977.

Vertical Limits
Visit our indoor rock climbing wall, fun and safe for all ages and abilities, specific kids wall and bouldering wall makes it fun for the beginner to expert. Open daily from noon.

The Suter Art Gallery
Inspiring exhibitions from local and contemporary artists, some crafts are included and the caféoverlooks the beaut-iful Queens Gardens. Open daily from 10.30am–4.30pm.

Every Wed, 52 weeks of of the Year 11am–4pm. Buy fresh, nutritious, locally grown produce that is sold directly to the consumer by local growers.

The Nelson Market

Christ Church Cathedral
…in Nelson, is the principal church of the Diocese of Nelson. The official seat of the Bishop of Nelson is found here in the sanctuary. Open to the public 7 days a week.
